Define the quantities to send to supported marketplaces. Track updates, investigate discrepancies and find operations that need attention in CIAMA Stock Dispatcher.
You also need to know what the channel did with it.
A quantity changed in your system. An update was submitted. A discrepancy can appear between those events, or after submission. CIAMA helps you distinguish target inventory, the update attempt and its processing outcome.
Three steps. A record you can act on.
01
Define what should be sent.
Link the offer to its product and configure the inventory sources to use. The target quantity follows that configuration, so your team knows which availability it intends to publish.
Configuration for each eligible offer
Selection of stock records linked to the product
Visibility into the calculated target quantity
02
Choose how to trigger the update.
Request a manual update with an explicit quantity or enable automatic mode on supported offers. Writes depend on permissions, the connection and activation in your environment.
Manual updates processed in the background
Automatic mode enabled per offer
Explicit connection scope
03
Find the outcome, not just the request.
Review attempts and their progress. Distinguish an update still being processed from a confirmed or blocked operation, then investigate offers that need intervention.

When an update does not go as planned
Keep exceptions visible as volume grows.
Available checks and statuses vary by connector. They do not guarantee instant synchronization or the absence of overselling.
Three situations to distinguish after requesting an update.
A requested stock update
Still processing
An update can be accepted before its outcome is confirmed. The time involved also depends on marketplace processing.
Discrepancy to review
Expected availability may differ from the information returned by the channel. Tracking helps identify the affected offers.
Action needed
A missing offer, an unlinked product or an unauthorized connection can prevent the operation. Context helps your team decide what to do next.
This diagram explains how to read the follow-up. Exact statuses and checks depend on the connector.
Shared inventory. Connected responsibilities.
Marketplace teams
Follow listing availability and updates that need attention.
Logistics
Check the inventory sources selected and stock availability by warehouse.
Purchasing
Relate availability needs to sales and replenishment decisions.
Agree the scope before enabling writes
A connection is not a blanket permission.

Questions about marketplace inventory sync
Does synchronization happen in real time?+
Frequency and effective delay depend on collection schedules, processing and each marketplace API. CIAMA lets you track operations; it does not promise universal real-time updates.
Can all my marketplaces receive inventory updates?+
Not automatically. Inventory writes are limited to supported connections and eligible offers. Scope is verified before activation, including the relevant fulfillment mode.
Can I send a quantity manually?+
For an eligible offer with writes enabled, you can request a manual update with a positive quantity or zero. The request is processed in the background, with progress available in the history.
Does this cover Amazon FBA replenishment?+
No. Publishing available inventory on an offer and planning physical replenishment are different operations. The FBA scope needs to be assessed separately.
Does CIAMA guarantee zero overselling?+
No. Reliability also depends on source data, concurrent sales and platform delays. Tracking updates and discrepancies helps teams address risk without removing those constraints.
