Multi-warehouse inventory

The total tells you how much.
The warehouse tells you where.

An overall quantity is not enough to prepare an operation. Find stock in its warehouse, examine the products and retain the link to commercial activity.

A warehouse network is more than one stock total.

The same product can be distributed across several sources. CIAMA retains the warehouse view so teams can understand that distribution before deciding what to do.

  • Warehouses within the connected scope
  • Associated products and quantities
  • Available stock history
Three steps to understand distributed stock.
  1. Locate

Identify the warehouse and stock associated with a product. Warehouse-level visibility does not imply detailed bin-location tracking.

  2. Examine

Review available information and collected history. They add context to the current quantity within the limits of the source.

  3. Connect

Consider availability alongside sales and replenishment needs. A quantity alone does not decide what to purchase.

A quantity stays tied to its warehouse and source. Visibility does not trigger a physical stock movement.

One warehouse is short. Your network may not be.

Before reordering a product, examine its distribution across connected warehouses. Logistics can check quantities and history, giving purchasing a clearer picture. Any transfer still needs to be organised in the system responsible for stock movements.

Your deployment scope

A view shaped by your source data.

We link product and warehouse identifiers to the collected records. Detail, update frequency and available history are agreed around your logistics sources.

CIAMA is licensed software deployed on-premise. Connections, enabled features and adaptations are defined for your deployment.

Your questions, answered

Can I see one product across several warehouses?

The multi-warehouse view lets you examine collected stock associated with products and integrated warehouses.

Does CIAMA trigger transfers automatically?

No, not within this visibility scope. Transfers and physical movements remain in your logistics tool unless a specific integration is separately agreed.

The right stock, with its source intact.

Show us your warehouse network and quantity sources. We will identify product mappings, available history and the views useful to logistics and purchasing.
