Spot incomplete product records
A structured catalogue can still contain incomplete records. Without a weight, GTIN or category, your teams spend time finding the gaps before they can prepare their operations.
Following product references and aliases, we introduce a view of product data quality. You use the gaps identified to organise enrichment work around your business priorities.
What changes in daily work
- Identify the most frequently missing data categories.
- Filter products according to your team’s priorities.
- Send targeted corrections from the system that owns the data.

See where the gaps are concentrated
CIAMA counts affected products and missing data by category: ERP identifier, GTIN, name, weight, width, height, length, images, brand, category and tags. Attribute coverage helps you assess completeness within the searched catalogue.
Move from the overview to records needing attention
Combine a search with selected missing-data types to find the relevant products. Prepare a focused review instead of inspecting every record in the catalogue.
A populated field is not necessarily accurate. These indicators do not certify commercial content quality or compliance with every sales channel’s requirements.
API: correct the fields that need attention
With PATCH /api/pim/products/{ciamaId}, an authorised source can partially update its product: name, GTIN, weight, dimensions or classification relationships, according to the API contract. The request requires an idempotency key and source revision metadata.
A 202 Accepted response confirms acceptance, not completion. Use GET /api/pim/products/receipts/{receiptId} to follow the result. Image fields are outside this PATCH contract: completeness checks and writable fields have different scopes. Explore the integration principles in the API documentation.
Complete a range’s product data
Before preparing a range, the catalogue team selects products without a GTIN, then checks those missing a weight. The information is completed in the system responsible for it. The integration sends corrections to the PIM and tracks the receipts, allowing the team to review the updated records.
Whether GTINs or dimensions come first depends on the intended use. The dashboard supports that business decision rather than making it for you.
This edition looks back at CIAMA’s evolution. The month is an editorial milestone in the product story, not a production deployment date.
